Castleschouldt Elementary is scheduled to open for the 2026–2027 school year.

Castleschouldt Elementary will serve students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.

The official school colors are purple, black, and white, and all elementary schools in Willis ISD share a common mascot: the Wildkat.

The new elementary attendance zones are now available on the Willis ISD website. Families can review the updated boundaries and related information online.

In-person summer registration opportunities are being offered June 16, June 23, July 7 and July 14 from 2-6 PM and June 18, June 25, July 9, and July 16 from 9 AM-1 PM in the Willis ISD Boardroom located at 612 N. Campbell in Willis.

Families impacted by rezoning have received communication from the district regarding transfer and enrollment procedures.

To register, a parent/guardian must present the following documents at the in-person appointment. (Please note, even if you upload the documents in the system, you will be required to present hard copies for review. 

• One proof of residency
  • Current utility bill or lease agreement 
    • Utility Bill - An acceptable utility bill is a gas or electric bill that includes your name and the physical address of the property. Bill must be from within the last 30 days. 
    • Lease Agreement - A lease agreement with your name, physical address, and the signature page signed by all parties is acceptable.

• Current immunization records

• Original valid driver’s license of the enrolling parent/guardian

• Child's birth certificate*

• Child's social security card

Information regarding clubs, leadership opportunities, and extracurricular activities will be shared as the campus opening approaches.

Students will be explicitly taught schoolwide expectations, routines, and leadership behaviors to help create a positive and respectful learning environment.

Absolutely. Families will have opportunities to volunteer, attend events, participate in PTO activities, and partner with the school throughout the year.

Transportation services will follow Willis ISD guidelines. Bus route information will be shared prior to the beginning of the school year.

School hours are 8 am-3:30 pm.
